Pete and Anna Severs met while serving together in the U.S. Navy, and currently reside in San Diego, CA, where Pete works as a consultant and Anna continues to serve in the Navy. Through their writing and advocacy, they hope to honor Cici’s legacy and help advance research, treatment, and healing for others facing similar journeys.
Jasmine Spencer

Jasmine Spencer is a 2016 Naval Academy graduate and former Naval officer who loves crafting, drawing, and painting. After serving in the Navy, she spent two years teaching preschool in Japan, where she enjoyed sparking imagination in young minds. This is her first illustrated children’s book, a project that blends her creativity with her passion for sharing stories with young readers.
